Founded by Brian Smith in 1978, UGG began as a sheepskin boot company symbolizing relaxed southern California culture as well as embracing sport. By the end of the 90's, the fashion world had acknowledged the UGG brand in which a cultural shift occurred the brand to become into this iconic and casual sense of style. Fast forward to now and UGG continues to stay relevant with partnerships and collaborations such as Bape, Mastermind, Neighborhood and more.
